at Krämer Druck
ENVIRONMENT Alongside resource consumption, energy consumption is one of our company’s biggest sources of emissions. We constantly review our production process and value chains to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings. This also includes our FSC- and PEFC-certified papers. ECONOMICAL STABILITY // From a small 30-man printing company to one of the leading manufacturers in our industry, there were and still are many challenges to overcome. Always focussing on the essentials and the future, with understanding and consideration, we have been a long-standing and trustworthy partner to many customers. And we will be in the future too.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY // As an employer in the region, we contribute to making our home worth living in. Through long-term employee loyalty and as a supporter of various cultural events and local associations, we want to give something back to the people who do great work with us every day. As a training company, we offer young people and skilled workers many opportunities.
INNOVATION Progress rather than stagnation. Given the size of our company, we have a certain responsibility when it comes to driving innovation.

On-site measures
We currently have just under 2,500 m² of solar panels on our roofs. We also use the waste heat from our machinery to heat our buildings. Charging points for electric cars are available to customers and staff.
In our day-to-day production activities, we focus, amongst other things, on material usage, the separate collection of production waste and the transfer of suitable materials to recycling partners.
Paper from certified sources
Krämer Druck has been certified to FSC and PEFC standards since 2013. This enables us, when required by a customer’s order, to process and label paper that meets the requirements of the relevant certification scheme.

Award-winning - our paper carrier tape recycling
Our ‘Paper Carrier Tape Recycling’ project has already won us an award in 2023. The jury for the ‘Moselhelden 2023’ awards was also convinced from the outset that our carrier tape recycling scheme is a flagship project for the region.
Trees for the regional forest of the future
In 2023, we began planting trees in the local forest. Together with the local forestry commission, we opted for quality over quantity, thereby laying the foundations for a project that we would like to expand further in the future.
