Recycling of paper carrier tape
When labelling self-adhesive labels, the backing tape is an inevitable waste product. As this is coated with a special silicone layer, it cannot be disposed of in the paper waste and should be disposed of in the residual waste. This sometimes results in large quantities of waste and the material cannot be recycled when disposed of together with other waste.

Wir bieten Ihnen mit unserem Service die Möglichkeit, uns das Trägerband zukommen zu lassen. Wir übernehmen alles Weitere. Mit unserem Recyclingpartner führen wir als Druckerei bereits seit vielen Jahren die Aufbereitung von Etikettenlinern (Papierträgerband / Glassine) durch. Als Familienunternehmen möchten wir Verantwortung übernehmen. Deshalb bieten wir unseren Kunden die Möglichkeit, Papierträgerbänder sortenrein zu sammeln und über uns an einen spezialisierten Recyclingpartner weiterzugeben. So wird das Material einem Recyclingverfahren zugeführt, statt über den Restmüll entsorgt zu werden. Das kann sich auch finanziell lohnen: Für die weitere Entsorgung durch uns fallen keine Kosten an; lediglich die Kosten für den Rücktransport zu Krämer Druck tragen Sie selbst.
How does participation work?

Small cartons
- You confirm that you recognise the regulations
- A cardboard box with which you have received labels from Krämer Druck (dimensions: 40x40x30cm) is used as a container for the return shipment of carrier tapes. You collect the carrier tape free of labels and free of all other foreign matter in these cartons in the best possible compaction.
- A printout (DIN A4) of the cardboard label ‘Carrier tape recycling’, which you will receive from us as a PDF, is attached to the cardboard.
- The carton is securely closed and does not exceed the Maximum weight of 20 kg .
- The box will be sent to Krämer Druck GmbH, Kordelweg 9, 54470 Bernkastel-Kues, Germany, at your expense using a shipping service provider of your choice.
From 400.000 bottles
Large cartons
- You confirm that you recognise the regulations
- We will send you personalised boxes (half Euro pallet format).
You collect the carrier tape free of labels and free of all other foreign matter in these cartons in the best possible compaction, close them and strap them for safe transport by pallet. - Once a pallet in Euro format (or several pallets) has been loaded with 2 cartons each, send it to us at Kordelweg 9, 54470 Bernkastel-Kues, Germany, as a general cargo delivery with the shipping service provider of your choice at your expense.
The shipping costs (depending on regional differences) are usually cost-neutral compared to the disposal costs saved.
We will take care of everything else for you - there are no additional costs for you for further disposal.

Why participation is worthwhile for you
Durch das Recycling vermeiden Sie Abfall und sorgen dafür, dass das Material wiederverwendet werden kann. So wird beispielsweise Papier für Magazine aus dem Trägerband hergestellt oder das Material wird zu Dämmstoffen weiterverarbeitet. Auf Wunsch stellen wir Ihnen gerne ein Zertifikat für die Teilnahme am Programm aus.
Is there anything to consider?
Clean separation into pure paper carrier tape is absolutely essential, as foreign bodies (e.g. glass etc.) cause major damage to processing machines or lead to contamination of the material. The personalised goods are checked before the recycling process and can lead to return shipment and exclusion of the supplier if the goods are contaminated.
