Krämer Druck wins the Rheinhessen Sustainability Award

We were very proud to receive the Rheinhessen Sustainability Award in the open category at the AgrarWinterTage in Mainz. 

Here is the judgement of the expert jury: ‘Krämer Druck impressed the jury with its application to recycle the label backing material. The backing material for self-adhesive labels causes immense amounts of waste in the wineries, which, as it is coated material, would have to be disposed of in the non-recyclable waste. Krämer Druck provides the wineries with return transport boxes on corresponding half-pallets for the carrier tapes free of charge, so that the work involved in recycling or returning the waste product is kept efficient. Customers only bear the return shipping costs. After despatch, Krämer Druck feeds these into the recycling cycle for special papers (e.g. for magazines) and thus into other recycling loops. For every tonne of carrier tape, 13 trees can be saved.’
