KD ON Tour - Fairs in winter

Over the past few weeks, we have had the pleasure of taking part in four exciting events: the Wine Marketing Day in Oppenheim, the AgrarWinterTage in Mainz, the Moselle Weinbautage in Wittlich and the Weinbautag in Luxembourg. These events offered us the perfect opportunity not only to hold interesting discussions, but also to present our latest innovations.

The focus was particularly on our new sand varnish. Sand coating is an innovative finishing technique that gives special lettering or motifs such as slate stones, tree bark etc. a unique, rough, sand-like feel. This technology impresses with its particularly pleasant feel to the touch - perfect for making your products even more appealing.

With the papers in our ‘Green Label’ series, we are going one step further in the direction of sustainability. These are papers made from recycled and upcycled materials that are not recognisable as such at first glance. For example, they are made from grass fibres or recycled raw materials such as carrier tape and other papers. These papers combine environmental awareness with high quality and an attractive appearance, making them ideal for wine, sparkling wine and spirits labelling.

The positive feedback and interesting discussions with visitors to the events have shown us that the trend towards sustainable products is also gaining momentum in the wine industry. We are delighted that we can make an important contribution to this change.
