Girls' Day and Boys' Day at Krämer Druck
- Category Training & Career, Regional
On the occasion of Girls' Day and Boys' Day on 3 April, we were visited by 9 pupils who completed an exciting one-day internship with us.
After an introduction to our company and the apprenticeships, the participants put their knowledge to the test in a short quiz. Then it was time to get creative: they printed their own bags using the screen printing process. The pupils were able to get active with colour quizzes and the playful processing of commercial orders.
During the subsequent tour of the company, there was a look behind the scenes - where they were able to see the huge machines and marvel at how the screen printing they were learning today works. After a joint lunch break 🍕, everyone was able to get a taste of their favourite department, accompanied by our training ambassadors Linus and René.
Did you know that over 65% of trainees in the media design profession are female? In the printing sector, the figure is just under 20 %. (Quelle) Our commercial apprenticeships are also much more popular with girls than with boys. (Quelle) It is therefore important for us that every participant gains an insight into the diversity of our training occupations.
Great that you were there! Maybe we'll see you again soon for a longer internship.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our training ambassadors Linus and René, who provided excellent support on the day!
