A grape juice label for the Lieser children's vineyard
- Category Regional
As part of the '„Kinderwingert“ goes Primary School' project, the „Waschbär“ class at Lieser Primary School has created something very special this school year: their own grape juice – completed with a label they designed themselves.
Together with the Kochan & Platz winery, the children not only learn how viticulture works, but also a great deal about the region.
Nicole Kochan-Platz is in charge of the project and is organising the individual stations together with class teacher Mrs Bauer. She describes the project as follows:
„In the 'Kinderwingert goes Primary School' project, fourth-year pupils learn a great deal about viticulture, but above all about their homeland. The project is tailored to the school year and is supported by the school's friends association, fellow winegrowers and the school itself. It can only succeed with a wide range of support – including from you, dear Krämer Druck team. At the end, the children receive their own product with a label they have designed themselves, and even the class fund is replenished."
From idea to finished label
Since every bottle needs a matching label, the next step took the class to our label printing facility. After a brief introduction to our company, the children were given an insight into how the many beautiful drawings and designs are turned into a print-ready label – from data preparation to production.
A special highlight: the pupils were allowed to give the go-ahead for printing their own grape juice labels on the printing press. They proudly watched as their designs were finally printed.
At the end, the children were given the opportunity to get creative themselves and print their own bags and design labels – a little souvenir of an exciting day.
The finished grape juice is sold at the primary school's spring festival, with the proceeds going to the class fund. This not only creates a tangible product, but also a genuine community experience that combines regionality, craftsmanship and creativity.
Wir freuen uns sehr, Teil des Projekts Kinderwingert Lieser zu sein und damit junge Menschen für ihre Heimat, den Weinbau und auch die Welt des Drucks begeistern zu dürfen.
